Academic Studio Architecture & Disciplined Resource Management

Recognizing a critical industry need for organized post-production management, I co-founded and directed the operational framework for Studio-X during its formative initial years. Merging my real-world corporate office management background with my animation studies, I scaled this newly emergent, in-house university studio into a highly functional visual effects vendor house. I designed the tracking systems, daily asset review structures, and task-assignment pipelines required to safely manage an influx of complex indie film properties, establishing a structured workspace where student artists secured crucial first industry credits.

Institutional Pioneering & Production Degree Codification

As one of the very first digital media students to successfully pivot from artistic execution into specialized executive logistics, I actively campaigned university administration to formalize this vocational track. I conceptualized, pitched, and established a brand-new, dedicated educational course structure tailored specifically to training animation and visual effects producers. Graduating as the first-ever student under this specialized academic discipline, I directly built the blueprint that allowed future generations of students to specialize as elite, industry-ready post-production executives.

Independent Film Post Supervision & Festival Asset Delivery

As the principal VFX Producer and Coordinator for Studio-X’s keystone theatrical properties, I spearheaded the technical and creative asset lifecycle for three breakout independent features: Midnight Son, Opal, and the critically acclaimed Circumstance. Operating under tight independent cinematic budgets, I coordinated multi-vendor review cadences, tracked high densities of rotoscope, composition, and matte painting shots, and enforced strict quality control parameters. This ensured that non-traditional, artistically daring independent films achieved high-fidelity visual effects that met international theatrical distribution standards—culminating in elite global festival selections at the Cannes Producers Network and a Sundance Film Festival Audience Award.
